There are, however, pre-programmed settings for different hair and skin colours that can be adjusted to suit individual needs, and with topical application of Lipoxome solution, white, grey and blonde hair can also be treated. The number of treatment sessions required varies from person to person and according to the size of the area being treated, but the norm is between 3 and 6. 

TREATMENT OF SUN- DAMAGED SKIN

For a younger, fresher look, Ellipse IPL works gently to reduce age spots, diffuse redness, even pigmentation and improve skin texture. Facial treatments are most popular, but any area of the body can be treated. Clients are advised not to undergo treatment if their skin has been exposed to the sun during the previous 30 day period. There are pre-programmed settings with Ellipse to suit naturally different skin colours. The number of sessions required to obtain the desired results varies from person to person, however typically between 1 and 3 is sufficient. 

ACNE TREATMENT

For clearer skin, Ellipse IPL targets the sebaceous glands to inhibit the over-production of oil that is the cause of acne, and any area of the body affected by acne can be treated. A typical course of therapy comprises several sessions, normally three weeks apart and an accompanying gel is prescribed in tandem to help reduce inflammation. Permanent acne will benefit from treatment, and best results are obtained on red, raised and pimply skin. 

WRINKLE REDUCTION

Reduce the appearance of fine lines and visibly improve skin texture and radiance without injections. A 2 stage combination of Ellipse IPL and Intense Photo Spray acts effectively to combat obvious signs of ageing, and though variable, 3 sessions are typically required.  Subsequently, reduction of fine lines occurs gradually.
